Public Charging Made Simple

Toyota vehicles equipped with the North American Charging System (NACS) port provide convenient access to more than 5,000 public charging stations across Canada. Locating a charger is straightforward using the Toyota App or your vehicle’s in-car navigation system, both designed to guide you to the nearest available station.

If your battery charge becomes depleted, Toyota Roadside Assistance can tow your vehicle to the closest charging location, helping you return to the road with minimal interruption.

DC Fast Charging Guidance

To support long-term battery health and consistent charging performance, it is recommended that DC Fast Charging be limited to three charging sessions per day between approximately 10% and 80% state of charge. After three sessions, additional DC Fast Charging within the following 24-hour period may take longer and provide reduced charging effectiveness.

For 2026 model-year Toyota battery electric vehicles (BEVs), this allowance increases to up to five DC Fast Charging sessions per day.

While it is technically possible to complete five DC fast-charging sessions in a single day, doing so would represent exceptionally heavy usage and is not considered typical operation for this vehicle. Based on an estimated 380 km range per full charge for a 2026 bZ XLE FWD under ideal conditions, this level of driving could total roughly 1,300 km in one day, comparable to travelling from Halifax toward the Montreal region.

For a more comfortable and battery-friendly experience, we recommend a relaxed travel pace when using Level 2 charging. Planning longer stops allows time to recharge fully while you enjoy a meal, explore a local attraction, or take a proper break before continuing your journey.
